This is version No. 1 of this song. In a way, it's a song in process. Final versions will be released in time. Didn't have it easy on this one. In this day of age, I felt it better released in its raw version, than wait for the right time or form. I was even thinking of having an album full of versions of that Song of Songs. It's really almost untouched, recorded in a room with walls made of a thick Jerusalemite stone.
lyrics
It wasn't a dream then, I started to sing and
you were holding my hands, you were crying.
There was a vision pristine, some kind of trueness within.
So I thought that I knew where I was going.
I was a star and a whore, I was coming ashore.
And my pockets were bursting with dreams.
But it was all getting heavy, the waters were dirty.
and the salt was burning my eyes.
I was losing control, darkness fell over all,
not a soul left around, not a sound, my mind was drowning
I was waving my hands, I was screaming for help,
no one heard, no one cared,I was tired, and hell, I was scared.
Hold my hand again and sing with me
the song of songs the way we used to.
